Chiropractic

Dr. Robert Deltombe

After studying at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland Oregon, Dr. Deltombe started his own practice, Garneau Chiropractic Health Clinic. Specialising in neck/shoulder pain, pregnant patients, postural syndromes, and preventative health and wellness, Dr. Deltombe uses diversified manual manipulation, soft tissue therapy and activator techniques to aid in his patients recovery and pain management. He supplements his professional time by treating patients at low income retirement homes through the Alberta GEF program.

Dr. Marshall Henderson 

Rounding out his chiropractic studies at the University of Western States, after obtaining his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta, Dr. Marshall started his career at ATHX Performance, then at MVMT Physio & Chiro before coming to Garneau Chiropractic Health Clinic. With his past experience with sport centered therapy and working with military veterans, Dr. Marshall specializes in diversified manual adjustments, active release theory, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, medical acupuncture, activator adjusting, and kinesiology taping.

Dr. Scott Swartzenruber

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, Dr. Scott furthered his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. After working at Oxford Wellness Clinic, Scott brought his expertise to Garneau Chiropractic Health Clinic. He enjoys working with a wide variety of patients to help them manage their pain with manual manipulation, soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, and activator techniques.

Massage

Montana RMT

After completing her studies at Makami Massage Therapy College, Montana gained experience at the Jasper124 Massage Therapy clinic before joining the team at Garneau Chiropractic Health Clinic. Montana specializes in relation and therapeutic massage and uses cupping techniques to help treat her patients.

Sam RMT

Following the completion of his massage training at CDI College, Sam went on to work at Oak Heart Therapeutics and Human Integrated Performance, before coming to Garneau Chiropractic. Sam specializes in Sports and Therapeutic Massage. He also employs the use of hot stone massage, cupping, trigger point therapy, deep tissue RMF, and muscle energy techniques in his massage therapy.

Rachel RMT

After completing her studies at Macewan University in 2019, Rachel gained experience working at Stride Sports and Physiotherapy. Rachel went on to open her own private practice, The Muscle Master: Massage Therapy, at City & Soul Wellness, before joining the team at Garneau Chiropractic Health Clinic. Rachel specializes in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, and Gait Analysis and Headache management. She also uses Myofacial Dynamic Cupping, CranioSacral, and Deep Tissue techniques to help treat her patients.

Marie RMT

Marie studied at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy before she launched  her career at City Center Wellness and an in-home clinic. She favors myofascial decompression to loosen tension and scar tissue, as well as relaxation techniques, deep tissue massage, muscle manipulation and cupping. Marie likes to suppliment her professional time by offering discount treatments to members of a housing co-op and trades massages with friends and family for favors in-kind.

Flora RMT

Following her completion of a diploma in physiotherapy assistant and 4+ years of clinical experience in the physiotherapy industry, Flora went on to her training at Makami College to become an RMT. Flora also holds current certifications in many techniques such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pre- and Post-Natal Massage, Sports Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Release and Myofascial Release. She especially enjoys treating tension headaches and neck and shoulder pain, as she can sympathize with these symptoms.

Paige RMT

After completing her studies at Makami College, Paige began her career at the Enjoy Center. Later she joined the Garneau Chiropractic team where she specializes in treating poor posture, post operation recovery, repetitive use and sports injuries. Her treatment techniques include Golgi Tendon Organ work, trigger point work, cupping, deep tissue massage, lymphatic manual drainage, relaxation, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation stretching.

Dr. Alisa, RA

Having a strong tie to her Chinese heritage, after completing a BSc in Biology and a Masters in Life Sciences, Alisa went on to become a registered acupuncturist. She utilizes many techniques including  needling, electro-needling, cupping, GuaSha, and ear-pressure, as well as incorporating her background in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She specializes in treating headaches, neck and shoulder pain, back pain, joint pain, digestive concerns, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and irregular menstruation.

Komal Kumar

Komal is a dynamic and highly skilled professional dedicated to mental health and holistic well-being. Komal is a first-generation Canadian with Fijian-Indian roots and holds an impressive array of academic qualifications, including a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science and Heath, and a Master's in Counselling. With nine years of experience in post-secondary education at the University of Alberta and NAIT, Komal has honed her expertise in education and mental health.

 

Komal employs evidence-based and holistic approaches to therapy, integrating body, mind, and soul. She specializes in treating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, confidence issues, international populations, blended families, and more.

 

In addition to her professional endeavors, Komal is the founder of TriUnity Wellness and the South Asian Network Therapy Association, which connects South Asian individuals with culturally sensitive therapists.

Dr. Wilson Tat

After graduating from University of Alberta with a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration degree, Wilson has become a seasoned prescribing pharmacist that specializes in medical aesthetics. Wilson is dedicated to delivering exceptional results with a proven track record. Not only does he offer neuromodulator treatments such as Botox for the treatment of migraines and temporomandibular disorder (TMD), he has a vast experience prescribing, formulating, and creating anti-inflammatory pain medications to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal pain.
